Joe “Mack,” McElroy, born May 6, 1976, grew up in the tiny river-valley town of Dardanelle, Arkansas.  As a child, hip hop music and culture seemed to flow through his veins.  Though it was not widely accepted in a “mostly white,” rural setting, Joe found a deep love for it.  Whether it was breakdancing in the school yard at recess, or reciting every rhyme from every cassette tape he could get his hands on, Joe loved hip hop.
